As a nonprofit arts association,
[Artspace] at Untitled is supported by public and private foundations and by corporate sponsors, but most importantly, by individual donors. Annual Supporting Donations make it possible for Untitled to:
* Keep our galleries open free to the public five days a week.
* Present an average of five uniquely curated exhibitions yearly along with a series of workshops and lectures.
* Bring national and international artists and art professionals to our community for programs associated with exhibitions.
* Provide operational support for staffing and maintenance of Untitled.
[Artspace] at Untitled presents an average of five exhibitions yearly, a series of printmaking workshops through its [Press] at Untitled program, and frequent lectures associated with our exhibitions, workshops and community Outreach program. While most of our funding for these programs is made possible by foundation grants and corporate sponsorships, additional funding is still required. By becoming a Sustaining Donor, you can ensure total funding for Untitled's exhibitions, workshops and long term program management. Sustaining Donors contributing $1,500 or more become members of the '1,500 Club'. What your Sustaining Donation will fund:
$500 - Pays the cost of our staff time required for presenting lectures and preparing workshops in addition to lecture and instructor fees.
$1,000 - Contributes to exhibition costs including: shipping and handling, installation, artists travel and lecture fees, catalogs and promotional materials, and opening receptions and events.
$2,000 - Contributes to operational costs, and planning and implementation of long term programs such as: the [Press] at Untitled's Offsite Printmaking Facility, [Artspace] at Untitled's Traveling Exhibitions Resource, [Artspace] at Untitled's Photographic Resource Center
This year [Artspace] at Untitled is setting a goal of bringing together 100 patrons, each of whom will pledge $1,500 for a total of $150,000. All patrons contributing $1,500 or more will enjoy the following benefits:
A. Private preview parties for all exhibitions to be held the evening before public openings. Includes 'Meet and Greet' with the artist/s and a curator's welcome.
B. Four yearly '1,500 Club' special events include:
- Meet the Collector, an evening of wine tasting and visiting with a featured local collector discussing the art they've acquired.
- Hot Topics with Untitled's Director, Jon Burris, which will be a lively presentation addressing a wide variety of current art and exhibition related topics.
- Taste of Art, a series of four dinner parties held quarterly upstairs at Untitled, featuring celebrity chefs. 1500 Club members will receive a 50% discount on each dinner party.
- Expert Advice, a lecture by a local art professional dealing with aspects of collecting, maintaining, and exhibiting art.
Corporate Partner Sponsorships begin at $5,000 and offer corporations opportunities to reach targeted segments of [Artspace] at Untitled's audiences, in addition to their own constituency, while helping to ensure Untitled's future.
We would like to work with corporations to develop 'integrated sponsorship packages' that promote both the corporation and [Artspace] at Untitled by underwriting specific exhibitions and programs. Corporate Sponsors will be acknowledged in all publications produces by Untitled, in select advertising, in a featured section of [Artspace] at Untitled's website, and in designated signage within Untitled's galleries. Corporate Sponsors will also enjoy discounts on facility rentals for parties, business events, and meetings at Untitled. Corporate Sponsors can designate four members yearly to the '1,500 Club.'
To fulfill our mission and secure a foundation for our future, [Artspace] at Untitled is establishing a Planned Giving Program. Your participation will help insure our future. With a planned gift, you can create a lasting legacy for generations to come. Planned gifts usually involve the transfer of assets by means of a legal document or contract. Several options are available that will ensure Untitled's long range programming goals. While your belief in the mission of [Artspace] at Untitled is your most important reason for making a planned gift, there are other benefits for you as well:
- Retain lifetime income and defer, reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes
- Generate a charitable income tax deduction
- Reduce or eliminate estate, gift, or generation-skipping taxes
