Fall Harvest: A Seasonal Spread

A Taste of Art is back! We have a great line-up of cooking classes this fall starting Wednesday, September 15, 6pm with Fall Harvest: A Seasonal Spread with Chef Beau Stephenson of Bin 73 Wine Bar. Fall Harvest features a spectacular menu of:

Thai chili dusted scallops
Acorn squash soup with ancho fritters
Petit filet with pumpkin rissoto and wild lambsquarter
Mocha martinis and pound cake with sweet tomatillo glaze

In addition, on October 13 and November 10 Chefs Cally Johnson and Kathryn Mathis of Big Truck Tacos will lead cooking classes. Join us as we learn more helpful tips and techniques, assist in the preparation of fabulous food and enjoy a gourmet dinner with good wine and new friends. Internship Opportunity at Untitled


 

We are currently accepting applications for our fall internship position. If you are a college student, recent graduate, or would simply like to give back to the community and learn about what it takes to run a non-profit arts organization, send your resume with a cover letter to autumn@artspaceatuntitled.org. The fall internship will begin September 7 and end December 11. Interns work a flexible schedule of 16 hours a week and are expected to attend up to two exhibit opening receptions. An Untitled Monothon II

The exhibition An Untitled Monothon II will open October 15 with a reception and silent auction from 5:00 - 8:00pm. It will feature the work of thirty-nine artists who participated in our second annual marathon of monoprinting in the [Press] at Untitled studio over the course of three weekends. The result of this project is an extroardinary collection of one-of-a-kind prints that will be available for purchase benefiting [Artspace] at Untitled's printmaking program. The exhibition will be on view through October 30 and is free and open to the public Tuesday - Friday, 10:00am - 5:00pm; Saturday, 10:00am - 4:00pm. Altered Books

On view through October 9, Altered Books features work by nine book artists from across the United States and Canada. The pieces in this exhibit range from music box books to large, abstract book sculptures. Complimenting the show is On Reading: Selections from the Photographic Society of America Collection featuring twenty-one vintage photographs depicting humanity's love affair with books. Altered Books and On Reading are free and open to the public Thurs - Fri: 10am - 5pm; Sat: 10am - 4pm.



[Press] at Untitled Open Studio Sessions Now Available

Thursdays - Saturdays By Appointment
 

The [Press] at Untitled now offers open studio sessions for artists interested in utilizing our print studio. While there will be a monitor on hand to assist with setup and cleanup, the open studio sessions are intended for artists with printmaking experience. For artists who need assistance using the presses, there will be an additional cost. The studio will be open by appointment only Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9am - 5pm. Studio sessions are $50 per day without press assistance and $80 per day with press assistance. Available processes include monoprint, woodcut, linoleum and collograph.
