It is not widely known that there are a number of fine collections of photographic art in Oklahoma because they are not publicly accessible. As a means of making such works available for exhibition and study, we are creating the [Photographic Resource Center] at Untitled. Our first step has been to turn our West gallery into a full-time photographic gallery where exhibitions will change every two to three months. Our most recent exhibition featured works from the Photographic Society of America Collection, representing a vast archive of masterpieces from the Pictorialist school. In addition to exhibiting these important collections, the [Photographic Resource Center] will also provide professional management and archiving services, assistance with the conservation of works on paper, and ultimately, a publishing program. We are fully committed to creating such a facility and believe it will become an important resource for the community. Please check back for updates on this developing program.
[Artspace] at Untitled has always been recognized for our commitment to the art of printmaking. In the coming year, it is our goal to create an expanded working studio where artists can come to use our presses and equipment, participate in workshops, interact with one another and ultimately exhibit their prints. This project is going to require a reorganization of our existing space. We are also exploring possibilities for utilizing an off-site location or even constructing our own building to house our printmaking program. We are committed to the [Press] at Untitled and making the art of printmaking accessible to our community. Please check this location for updates on this developing program.
